Turner Chapel's "Pursuit of Excellence" summer camp has been a staple of the Cobb County community for over 25 years. The  purpose of our summer camp is to provide a safe, caring, and fun environment that encourages children to learn about God, explore African-American culture, and have an enjoyable time engaging in academic learning and recreational activities.  This year, summer camp will be operating out of The Cathedral. During camp, children will enjoy morning devotion, bible study, field trips, academic enrichment, arts & crafts, skating, sports, computers and swimming.  Our leaders are masterful in using their creative imaginations to develop safe, fun, affordable yet exciting activities to expand your child's mind!

     We are excited to be partnering with Marietta City Schools (MCS) and the Marietta Police Athletic League (PAL) again this summer.  MCS loaned the camp 40 laptops to ensure that we are able to use technology as part of the students academic enrichment.  PAL allows our students to use their playground facilities as well as gymnasium for our recreation time.  Both community partnerships have proven to be fruitful for our students wellness.

 

*Lunch is provided by  City of Marietta and is free to anyone in the community under the age of 18 years old.
